Join SongTribe on Saturday 4th January 2025 (4pm) at Broughton St Mary’s Parish Church for a last spark of warmth and light to round off the winter festivities and send us into the New Year.
Our annual Midwinter Turning event will be a celebration of song and spoken word, this year featuring Hannah Lavery’s poem, Into Tomorrow, read by Liz Kettle.
Tickets cost £12.50 (£7.50 concessions) and are available in advance via Snappy Tickets. We recommend that you book online – the tickets for our concerts normally sell out so there are rarely any tickets available on the door.
See you there!
Thank you for joining us on Saturday 6th January (4pm) at Broughton St Mary’s Parish Church for a concert to round off this year’s festivities. This year our Midwinter turning featured joyous songs sung by the choir, woven through with contemporary poetry read by Laura Hughes.
We had a marvellous time singing along the promenade and at Portobello Community Garden on Sunday 4th June. We did a couple of pop-up song performances while we walked along the blustery sea front and then sung a set of beautiful and heartwarming songs at Portobello Community Garden near the pillars. Thank you to everyone who came along
Thank you to everyone who attended our 2023 MidWinter Turning on 7th January as St Martin of Tours Episcopal Church. Both of the concerts we did that day sold out and it was a fantastic last spark of warmth and light to round off the winter festivities and send us into the New Year. The event featured heartwarming songs woven through with contemporary poems read by Liz Kettle.
Thank you to everyone who attended our virtual MidWinter Turning on 20th December via YouTube – it was fantastic to see so many of you and raise over £1500 for The Junction Edinburgh. If you missed it you can catch up here:
